The Perceiver
I call those high in the perceiver gift my "Seeing Eye dogs". These people see very clearly and are quite good at conveying what they see. Most of the stand-up comics are high in this as are those who write comic strips and cartoons. They see things about our world and hold them up so we can all have a good laugh.There are three aspects of what they see which must be born in mind.
- They see in terms of extremes (black and white), but not much in the center, so need to be cautioned to be careful around anything which is still a work in progress.
- They see clearly and confuse this with seeing the truth. They think that because something is clear it is true. They need to be reminded that all truth is clear but not all clear things are true.
- They are idealists so need to be reminded periodically that "the north star is a great place to get directions from, but nobody lives there".
