“The Uses Of Diversion” ( ) [Sun Tsu First Half Re-Write # 7:5-6]

The problem is, in shifting time,
A crowd moves slowly down the line;
If goods are dumped so time is gained,
They’ll be exhausted, not the same –

As when they left – attrition’s high;
Without good food a lot will die;
If you drag on, you’ll get there last,
And lose, for sure – but there’s a vast –

Collection of ways to divert
Attention – slowly, go subvert
The actions of the enemy
Much more, so you see victory.

Lord, now I get why we drag on,
Though need is high, and hope seems gone;
You have better view, and know
How this plays out – so on we go –

I thought that speed was best of ways,
But now I hear what Sun Tsu says –
Get better at diversion-plays
Which buy you time through their delays.

Lord, I see preps as part of this –
If I’d delivered Kingdom-kiss –
“Just bide in Me and I in you
And you’ll pull off what you’re to do”.

I see, as well, You start ahead,
So we fulfill, ’fore we are dead,
Our tasks assigned, though we’re so slow
In our response – as well, You know.

Thanks Lord for this.
