Find out for real what’s going on –
Do not react, or move along
To be “Decisive” with no plan,
You’ll be entrapped, and cannot stand.We get uneasy when we wait,
For we don’t like to hesitate;
Decisive action shows we can
Be in control, and make our stand.That’s also true with love and care –
“Show love in action”, some declare;
But we must first discern the scene;
That’s Jesus role, as He has seen –Far more than us through fog of war;
Knows deepest needs in all before
We even see what needs be done
Once interactions have begun.But as we rest on pinwheel’s pin,
And let the pinwheel ’round us spin,
We find a peace come over us
Which helps us wait with far less fuss.Sometimes, Christ has us, “Go find out”,
Some obscure aspect on our route;
Game-changing part we had not seen,
Helps us engage the mean and mean.For love, that’s answer to a prayer,
Unknown to us, cannot compare
To clumsy actions, thwarted now
By unseen factors we allow.Thanks Lord for this.
