“The Hound Of Heaven” (He. 11:1-3; 1 Cor.15:24-28; Mk.11:24; Matt. 20:32 ) [Sun Tsu - Spin off - general]

In bigger things of faith we see,
And smaller ones that come to be
A part of daily life (like food
And water, which I know are good –

For daily life here on the globe,
Nee says are small parts of our load);
The bigger aspects, it is true,
Each come to us as small things do.

As Andrew Murray wrote back then,
Two interactive verses blend –
The active and the passive voice –
To form an interactive choice.

Now I see Nee and Murray are
Quite interactive in so far
As process, but from each I heard
Two sizes – big and small in word.

Through Murray, interaction was
The concept learned – on “Small” because
It was enough for me to grasp –
For me a monumental task.

But now, as I return to Nee,
It’s “Big” as well, which comes to be
A part of life – he “Process” shares,
As we mature through daily cares.

“First know” Nee states, then “Reckon it”;
That’s “Bank on it”, don’t let it sit
In corner as neglected key
To life – unlock and let it be.

That is, in Hebrews’ word on “Faith”,
“Substantiating” is the case
The writer there describes so well;
All three are what the Scripture tells –

Us ’bout what’s there for one and all
A process set for big and small
As we mature in Christ, in time –
It’s body-life in Christ – not “Mine”.

Lord, these three aspects interweave
In ways I’ve come now to believe
Are of a piece, rich aspects there,
As we, through You, become prepared –

For Your “Last task” – to play some part
In You, once You some actions start;
Lord, thanks for this wee bit of truth,
As I press on – You in pursuit!

Thanks Lord for this.
