“A Kingdom-Kiss Is No Small Thing” (Proverbs 10:10;Mt.5:5,37) [Spanish Bible Proverbs Series #10-10]

To make the peace is no small thing,
And Kingdom’s-kiss, which hard truth brings,
Is part of Christ’s complex design
Which, at the first, God had in mind.

Much easier to wink at sin,
Where discord, dislike all begin
To take their places in the world,
Then catch the breeze and start to whirl.

A reprimand must hit the mark
In such a way it truth imparts,
So one receiving love-ly blow
Will have no doubt the answer’s “No”.

This proverb builds on number nine –
Straight talking, walking, is defined
As making for a life secure,
Despite rodeó’s strong allure.

Lord, I’m assured as I read this,
That Spanish sees the Kingdom-kiss
(Photography) as complex, large,
And for a worker somewhat hard.

I’ve found the concept hard to grasp,
But here, in Spanish word, at last,
I get it – buildings, bridges, books,
And social-platforms, might now look –

Quite simple in design to make,
But are quite complex, and can take
A massive effort by a team
To birth as projects – here that’s seen.

I hear, “So don’t discouraged get –
It takes a while ’till concept sets
Itself upon your heart and mind,
To then convey hard-truth as kind”.

“Construct the peace” in complex ways,
Like Kingdom-kisses which can sway
Some person – target of God’s love
In ways confronting push and shove.

“So Stu, how ’bout you hunker down,
And learn to plug in what’s been found,
And you’ll find out as time goes by –
Twixt where you are, and when you die.”

Okay Lord thanks for this.
