“Third On The List” (Phil.2:1-11; Jn.1:1ff; Lk.2:16; Mt.13:55) [Sun Tsu First Half Re-Write # – 1:6C]

Third on the list when checking out
Two leadership’s, which some may doubt,
Is what is called “Humanity”
“Benevolence” translators see.

Well, Christ had brothers, sisters, mom,
A dad named Joseph; born the one
Who grew in wisdom, stature, and
In favor with both God and man.

Paul said He laid aside “God” role,
To come to earth, which took its toll;
Humility, compassion – showed
To one and all alternate road –

To that old Adam took at first,
Which we know well became much worse;
Christ went about with good for all,
’Till death, from start in humble stall.

“Forbid kids not”; “Lay down your life”;
“What profits you, if win in spite
Of fact you sold out all to gain
The world – not even soul remains?”

He’s walked life’s roads; forgave the worst;
Betrayed; abandoned; many cursed
His coming – He now intercedes;
Takes on, through us, the enemy.

And satan? Watches for the weak,
To steal, and kill, destroy – who seeks
To prey on those he can abuse,
And thinks by “Winning” others lose.

Well, in benevolence, Christ wins
Hands down – humanity begins
With Him – He pulls us from some pit,
Then onto Kingdom-layer insists –

We stand and catch our breath once more;
’Course we can all walk out that door,
Just like for Adam at the start –
God thought up “Choice” – let us take part.

So yes, a better leader here
Is Christ, not satan – that’s quite clear;
To join with Him, His body be –
Is life itself – our Jubilee.

Thanks Lord for this.
