Some people balk at angry scenes,
Will back off, sooth, and not be mean,
If it will make some matters worse –
When sometimes love is just reverse.Some call it, “Poke the bear” ’till he
Is quite perturbed, depressed, can’t see
His way out of brown paper bag –
So Christ sometimes has satan tagged.“You’re it”, he taunts with touch of love,
Delivered from the layer above,
Though one of His apt body-parts –
That’s us – once we with Him embark –Upon this life of His last task –
To overthrow all powers at last;
Authorities are fair game too,
When principalities are viewed –As hostile to the Kingdom-life,
More satan’s focal points of strife;
Not up to us to each select
As target – Christ assigns, and let’s –Us play some part to open space
For Spirit’s flow of gentle grace,
To soothe the underlying cause
Of trouble – anger comes through flaws –In satan’s twisted style of life;
So listen through each troubled night
To Spirit’s move – some opening;
Then slip on through so life begins.Lord, this is cool – amazing stuff!
Just when we think we’ve had enough,
You bid us step into the fray,
And be Your Jubilee today.Thanks Lord for this.
