When checking out the leadership,
If wisdom is a part of it,
With Jesus as a General,
At first it’s quite ephemeral –Until one visits once again
First chapter John – it’s there made plain,
“The Word made flesh” quite concrete is,
Once coupled up with Proverbs biz –For chapter one to nine is clear –
The best of life keeps wisdom near;
Not folly, or world-wisdom schmuck;
Two wisdom’s bid their readers tuck –Their insights into guidance tomes
For work, and school, and private homes;
One leads to life, the other death;
Christ’s into life – check Bible text.Two forms of wisdom, James points out,
Abound in life – for life, no doubt,
Choose wisdom God gives from above,
Played out each day in practiced love.Now that was from Christ’s brother, James –
Describes quite well (Christ does the same),
How life’s best lived – base of approach,
That Jesus has to evil’s coach.So here we have it – Jesus wins
In aspect one – not Satan’s sin
Of leading troops against our God,
Informed by wisdom from the sod.Thanks Lord for this.
