“Easy Come – Easy Go” (Eph. 5:18; Zech.12:11; Matt 6:11) [Sun Tsu Series Ch.10 – 1A]

This chapter sets up “mix and match”
For factors leaders use to hatch
A tactic useful for the day
First set is land formation’s sway.

For where one fights is factored in
It sets the context, where begins
A set of choices – “Slide rule” like
Which must align to come out right.

Six types of land he lists – type one
Is called “Accessible” – here runs
Both army groups, both ways with ease;
It’s “Passable” – both sides can seize.

Sometimes it’s just for passing through,
But here, it’s battle-focus view;
The point is, land is not a pain
For either side – low loss; low gain.

So speed will give you upper hand –
The sunny side of heights command
A view of actions far and wide;
Supply-routes set to goods supply.

In battle this advantage gives –
Not too much, but if you’d be a whiz
At winning fast, decisively,
“Accessible” is best for thee.

Megiddo’s hill and plain’s like that,
Where evil, in the end, falls flat;
In daily life I’m hearing, Lord,
You operate like Sun Tsu’s word.

“Be being filled” Paul said one day;
Lines of supply are key – the way
Planes fly and fuel up in the sky
Gives modern pix – lines of supply.

“Our daily bread” request each day;
Secure the source of flow, the way
It can’t get cut off needlessly,
Lest Spirit’s food dry up some day.

To me, this situation is
The toughest – for no crisis biz
Puts clear agenda on the slab,
Ensuring our attention’s grabbed.

So we don’t seize the day and use
Each opportunity – so lose
Advantage we might have today,
And fritter time in endless play.

Lord, help us stay alert in You,
Today as we, with Kingdom-view
Take up each opportunity
To grow to full maturity.

Thanks Lord for this.
