“Cry Out” (Isaiah 30:15; Matthew 14:27; 12:34; 8:24; Psalm 23:1ff) [Sun Tzu series #7 – 16]

“Cry out! Cry out!” Without a doubt,
Flags raucousness as all about;
Best wait in peace and quiet there;
Don’t fill the void with noise, despair.

For noise does not of substance speak,
But rather, heart, ofttimes quite weak;
To master sense, and heart, and mind,
Gives rise to what outsiders find –

To be reality beneath
The surface – there’s a place for each;
But as you wait, work down below –
A quiet calm will quickly show –

That strength is not reflected in
Amount of clamor, shouts, and din,
But in the fundamentals, such
That weight supports the quiet touch.

So stand your ground in quiet ease,
Serene and a tranquil – that will tease
Astute ones with the facts of life –
Good order often turns a fight.

A choice that is, just as one’s noise
Is also chosen – use of voice
Reflects the heart inside the man;
Let quiet speak, as quiet can.

Thanks Lord for this.
