“Turn The Coin Over” [Sun Tzu Series chapter 8 – 3] (John chapter 18-20; Luke chapter 24; Hebrews 13:2; John chapter 11)

The “Pos” and “Neg” of each event
Or challenge, once outside our tent,
Are all admixed, and that’s just fine –
Then we can change upon a dime.

In circumstances we are in,
Assess them well ’fore you begin –
“Good stuff” in good; the “Bad” in bad,
Come easily – for which we’re glad.

But look at flip-side of each coin –
Like “Good in bad” – for good is joined
At hip with bad – not side-by-side;
Both go along in other’s ride.

Same thing for “Bad” when good prevails –
It’s always there – like campfire tales
Of “Nasty” from the other’s view,
And how there’s good that one can do.

Some people in our world today
“Weigh factors in a scale”, to play
The odds; but this is different here –
Both bad and good must be made clear.

First, problems can be pre-resolved;
Surprise avoided; once involved,
If you are stunned by something new,
They’ll get to you – so best pre-view.

Then too, an opening can come,
When “Good” in “bad-times-scenes” are run;
If you are overwhelmed, can’t think,
Your ship is pretty sure to sink.

But if your life on “Kingdom-layer”,
Or “Pinwheel’s pin” (there’s stillness there),
Gives space and distance for a pause,
Use breathing-space to think – because –

Once good and bad mix is drawn out
There’s always chance another route
Will then emerge – some good is bad
Once closer viewed – then you’ll be glad.

Thanks Lord for this.
