Philemon

1:14 – working within the structures. These people had no political power to change the system and were restricted to what they could do to modify the practice in daily life (all slaves of Christ in attitude). However – as they received power in society they were lamentably slow (still are?) at doing anything about it. So too, the other social relationships.

1:19 – the pressure is definitely on Philemon to accept this person back – I'd say it must have been difficult for Philemon to get his head around this one. Paul would be some formidable force to come up against! (If this is any indication).
