A world that’s driven by media
And “Half-time” TV ads,
Can soon respond to service work
Involved in what is sad.

From wildlife issues, forests green,
And plight of refugees,
Three types of adverts now are used,
Securing help for these –

The advertising Council made
Its impact in the war;
Then afterwards made “Smokey Bear”
Helped forests by the score.

Some companies a link charity
To products, or their name,
By making ads which drum their cause,
Fan sparks into a flame.

And then, of course, the cause itself
Can sponsor ads as well,
Which seek out aid, or sponsorships,
To ease some bit of hell.

The power of ads by Mormon Church
Promoting family,
Makes issue fresh to outside folks,
Improves community.

Jesus, the very thought of this
Re-frames our Sunday school –
Imaginations of our kids
Promoting change that’s cool.

An institution could be formed
To draw together such,
And like “War effort” as before,
Empower small center’s touch.
