“Money As A Tool” [Reflection on Larry Winget’s Book – You’re Broke Because You Want to Be, Poem #2, Chapter 1]

I’d add to his self-exposé
The stage of change I’m at today;
He hints at this – the problem’s me
With reasons total maxed at three –

Don’t know; don’t care; can’t move my butt;
While stage of change engrosses thus –
We’re sometimes scared, confronted by
That great abyss before we die.

His worksheets are a stepping stone –
“We know”, he says – we’re not alone
In moving on in life forthwith,
If we’ll defeat two left on list.

I like his shift that’s permanent,
Not just a patch on old cement;
A way of life – a change that’s deep;
Not hard to know – just hard to keep.

Lord, Kingdom-layer enters here –
Can’t stop the wind, that part is clear;
The whirling also churns each day,
Just as the center quiet stays.

So, okay, let’s plug-in and play –
Seven aspects he’s made clear today,
One for each sector of my life;
A great approach to set things right.

Thanks Lord for this.
