“The Money Book” (Ecclesiastes 10:19) [Reflection on Larry Winget’s Book – You’re Broke Because You Want to Be, Poem #1, Introduction]

So “broke” is broke and “poor” is poor;
In Canada it’s not a sewer,
But rather, “Nice” – to be ahead
Of where we are – that’s why it’s read.

And what is read? Why, Winget’s tome –
At work, commuting, or when home –
His kick-ass style is not for some,
But more for me whose mind is numb.

I like his take – it’s action, sir,
Not comforting of feline purr,
That gets you anywhere you’d like
To go – regardless of the hype.

So, “Active” is his voice, I’d say
Not “Passive” – it’s no holiday
To get from brink of the abyss,
To stepping out of foolishness.

Ecclesiastes calls cash, “tool” –
Has multi-functions (with some rules);
But any tool quite useless is
If we don’t use it as we live.

Lord thanks for this.
