“Axe To The Root” ((Matt.3:10; Luke 91:37-40) [Kingdom Module Summary Sheets]

“The axe, already at the root”;
The part I’d dropped in hot pursuit
Of what’s most needed at each point,
’Round here, or in that other joint.

But now as I come back to start
Of module sheets, plus Kingdom’s part
In life for us this century;
I’m hearing this next part for me –

“Like it’s the cash-part, Stuie babe;
The part omitted, that’s been saved
To be plugged in – economy
Is where’s the rubbered-road for thee.”

So, Lord, what’s that mean for this scene
Especially where we each have been?
“Well, Stu, just think on it a bit –
Old tree’s removed, old fruit with it.

“So what’s made possible from this?
Why, life in Me – eternal bliss;
That’s started now – deep roots in Me –
New fruit’s now part of what you’ll see.

“So don’t just stand on Kingdom-layer,
Put down your roots, drawn life through prayer
And Scripture’s treasure – life-scene too,
Where rocks cry out their points of view.

“Then capture that for all to see,
By way of photos, poetry,
Whatever – just convey My word
In ways by which I will be heard.”

Lord, that’s amazing to my mind –
“Be eyes and ears for deaf and blind;
That they might come to Me for rest,
Then carry on, each soul refreshed.”

Thanks Lord for this.
