"Maslow"  [Gross and Shapiro - Tao Of Photography - Reflections - pp.81-89 - Section 3A]

They wrote their chapter – failed to join the dots;
Overlap, of course, in life there’s always lots;
With Maslow’s insight, he sees blockages
From top of pyramid – some passages –

Do have that ring, but stick to Taoist thought
And overlap you see with what is taught
On digital and film – photography;
The Maslow stuff is true, but weaker tea.

I hear another way to play this card
Through what you say, much better by a yard –
Use “gifts” as model – downsides are the blocks,
And body-life as needed in our walk.

For much of what you say relates to “gifts”;
Perhaps I’ll pause a while and help you shift
Your view, and help explain what is not seen –
A way of viewing life and what it means.

Thanks Lord for this.
