“Layers” - [Reflections on Chris Orwig's Book Poetic Photography - Chapter 1 - #1] (Isaiah 6; Ezekiel 1:-3:3; Luke 9:28-36; Revelation 1:9-20)

What is paper that I use each day?
Reflective surface giving maxed-out rays;
So much so it gives a white as base,
Contrast giving to the printer’s face.

When my poetry augmented is,
What’s required is dialing down the fizz,
So we see what lies behind the words –
It’s there now, but it cannot be heard.

As exposure’s cut, a scene appears;
Cut some more until the picture’s clear;
Cut too much then it to shadow goes;
When exposure’s right the truth one knows.

Juxtaposed, the scene and symboled text’s
Overwhelmed, therefore sometimes it’s best,
Background image drops to subtlety –
What is sensed then heightens mystery.

Mark Reboud says, “Watch geometry”;
Debbie senses flow in poetry;
Is the “flow” my geometric form?
Should Augmented Text reflect that norm?
