The Cleaned Agenda
I laid it out, seven double-years,
With bonuses at end, lest fears
Of ending from this point of view,
Disable what I get to do –So clear it was, and is so still,
Seven double-years, my heart and will
Find room to operate with ease,
Like seven years – but this way frees –Me to engage with “feel” of length,
Allowing me to set my strength
Against the tasks and work at hand,
Not structures I can’t understand.Lord, as I look at “years” laid out,
My angle of attack, no doubt,
Is what I did before, but now
It’s “double-units” keeping score.For I have laid out double-days,
And double-weeks (that’s ‘sets’), that pays
Off which percentage like before,
In groups that cluster twenty-four –To twelve, but in each double-year;
It’s nitty-gritty now I hear,
Needs work – time-budget, so I’m set
To handle all the chunks I get.I see it’s much like making sites
In absolute, percentage bites,
So content, frames, will fit each screen;
Who cares? – So long as picture’s seen.So there we are, a “pastorate”
Laid out in ways I don’t forget,
But can relate to, after years
Of working hard – my vision clears.Thanks Lord for this.
