Time For Growth
It takes the carrots time to grow
From concept heard to what we know,
And on from there to full-grown root
That bears its top and seeds as fruit –For carrots, apples, thoughts in me
All start their journeys here as seeds;
No need to talk incessantly,
God grows each thought ’till fruit we see.Not every thought matures to life –
Resistant soil, hard-packed through strife
Can stop it in its tracks at first –
Can’t penetrate – to me that’s worst.Some seed-thought gets a foothold, but
Resource it needs is like a rut
That’s drifted in with surface soil –
The rest resources other toil. Then there’s good soil where weeds all grow,
Which look so good as breezes blow
Them in the wind, but there’s no fruit,
No head – despite good stem and root. But it’s so good to hear of fruit
That’s grown in you – that seed took root –
For now abundant grows the crop,
And seed-words scatter in your talk.navigation
