And The Fragrance Filled The Room (Matthew 26:6-13)
Heard about my mentor’s brother,
When he’d gone, like any other,
On a ship to others visit –
Swamped his papers – that’s what did it –“Best thing in his life – like magic –
Had to move beyond the tragic;
Start again, engage with people
Living now beneath his steeple.”Such abundance! God’s provision –
Christ the Son, and fact He’s risen;
Spirit – walking in His presence;
Father’s love despite resistance.Don’t just weep about your losses,
As to dumpster stranger tosses
Your fair stash of thought that’s carried
You to here, since you were married.It’s not years, it’s His – and plenty
Is the flow – no river’s empty we:
Just engage and ask from heaven,
Daily bread for friends – like leaven –It will come into your being,
Fluff your thought; light up your seeing;
Flavor life that’s grown maturely –
Hermeneutic life most surely.“Attitude and not abundance” –
What you bring is not redundant,
Obsolete, or so much hokum –
Fragrance – flows once flask is broken.navigation
