What?
What is all this about, right now? I ask in prayer
To you, O Lord, please help my focus to be there,
Not off somewhere as I respond to what’s around,
But interactive with You Lord, may I be found –“That’s it – we must push through to interactive life,
Not active like society from which your wife
Has come, with sprinkles here and there of passive ways,
But inter-active in the Word through all your days.“Nor should it be the passive ways of former days
Among the Cree and Oji-Cree whose lifestyle says,
‘Kiyam’, Mawin’, ‘Wahbung’, and easy ‘Banama’,
With active aspects sprinkled in – as child you saw.“If we’re to do the work ahead you chose to do,
You’ll need to have that lifestyle be a part of you,
Just like the insight Murray had those years ago
Into my teaching all of this, which now you know.“So, Stu, what do you now believe, with roots in prayer
You have received, as gift from Me? It all starts there;
Ask for that part, and that alone, and it will be
To you – so stop and think, then ask – and you will see.“The other aspect has a part to play, of course –
What are you willing actively that I resource?
For that’s what “doing” means to you – a giver’s twist
To power’s sweet effect in life none can resist.“It’s only in the tightness of this wicket gate
That you’ll transition through, and then participate
In inter-active life as only way for you
To do your life-in-Me, in all you do.“You found the active life has problems – that you know;
But passive has a hold on you, by that you go
On with this project – now you’re seeing where it fails
For you, as part you lack where other gift prevails.“Like being quite content to be in peace,
And let the river flow in life, all work release –
But rather, enter in as one with flow you see
And let all things work out, content to ‘be’.“That is a way of life for some – at times for you;
But at the core, the part you play from body view
Is inter-active – both in life, and here with Me:
So that’s the “What” we’re working on – here, present-ly.”The aspect which I have received? “Photography”
Augmented text – the part I bring that it can be
The rich resource some others need to hear Your word
O Lord, (to others it appears to be absurd).“So – as for that – leave all the rest to other hands;
That’s plenty for the work you’ll do there as My hands;
For blessed indeed will others be who come to see,
The things you see – a photographic ministry.“Stu, now fulfill the vision built into the stone
Of residence your grandpa built, into his home,
And in that stone of training center he saw made
To raise up folks in ministry, once stone was laid.“Successors could not grasp his vision of the way;
Nor was “augmented text” a part he saw would play
A vital role in future life as now you do;
Fulfill his dream, your dream – in Me – in words I say through you.”Lord, what I’m hearing, “Ask him for the photo part;
In that contented be, and on it build your art;
Leave all the rest with him, it’s his, you know he needs
It to fulfill the part You’ll play as he succeeds”.“That’s all been chucked – no longer there – that’s clearly seen;
Though once it was, it is no more, what once has been
A part he did, it did not work – “Go get your own”
Don’t covet tools for other folks – I am your home.”navigation
