The Part I Bring To Text

As I peruse those shelves of books,
And contemplate how texts could look,
I get excited to indulge –
“Augmenting text” so to divulge –

Augmented meanings of my text;
To help folks shift one’s thought to next,
So they can bring their meanings in
And their thought-journey thus begin.

Some parts of what I do, I find
Are still intact – bring to their mind
A reframed context of their life,
Thus open up a way through strife.

Like “Loss through sickness”, “Loss itself”,
Has third dimension on the shelf
It’s “Loss of future life and walk;
Our journey shared of which we talk.”

Augmented text – and new text too –
Like life which I could walk with you;
Or is it all now said and done?
Augmenting text’s what’s left of fun?

I don’t believe that’s all now past,
That input new is done at last;
But rather, focus has now come
To work at hand – I’ve now begun.

That less gives more – results flow out;
That life’s enriched without a doubt
When closure comes to tasks at hand,
And we upon our pasts now stand.

Lord as we go from here this day,
Let life emerge through work and play,
As we move on and future bring
’Till we with You in heaven sing.

Thanks.
