This Little Shop

And now I see this little shop,
Which gives to folk support they ought
To get for living out their dreams;
A glimpse I see of what that means –

It means folks now can build a life
Amidst the constant whirl and strife,
And get the help they need to build
The dream God gave – with meaning filled.

Such was the start – where games could be
Produced for folks, so vision seen
Could be played out where they reside,
And have their products shared beside.

Though visions small are fun to see,
They’re more like hobbies done by me;
They pay their way, defray the cost,
Beyond that point, all value’s lost.

But hey, there’s more – for base is seen
To be within that intent keen;
If they want more, well hey, let’s talk –
Into your future then let’s walk.

For books and printing lead the way
To future life – a start today
That often gives a warm embrace
To life that’s dreamed in quiet place.

So, there’s no need to tear things down;
A base is set firm on the ground;
Let’s build from there – let’s touch to give,
Give folks ’round here a chance to live.

Of course it must much bigger get,
But it’s a start – it’s small and yet
With time ahead, and vision bright –
It will grow up, though things are tight.

Lord, thanks for this, it means a lot;
For now we’re founded on the rock
Of his foundation, bed-rock base –
Which starts us up to build his place.

Thanks.
