Sun Tzu (Gospel Of Luke)

“Sun Tzu’s for you to learn of Son
Tsu (Lord) – to learn how victory’s won;
Now is the time to under-stand
Those who are dying in this land.”

Lord, as I start this day afresh,
Fill me with Your creative breath;
Spirit of God descend I pray,
For my next steps prepare a way.

Show me how best to leave a path;
Not one which fades – a way that lasts;
Others there are who look to me,
Watching, Your providence to see –

Here in this western land of ours,
Covered with snow, where crocus flowers
Soon will be speaking silent hope,
Of life renewed on hillside slopes.

“Luke – live out Luke, the moneyed man –
Giver as gift – now take your stand;
Live out that Gospel as you teach,
Which in the past you could not preach.

“Stay in the city till My power,
Has been received – you’ll know the hour
You are to leave, take up the task
You’ve been allotted – as you’ve asked.”

Thanks, Lord.
