Your Needs

I know your every need, my son,
So with this gift I had her come;
Kick back and savor all I do,
As I speak volumes thus to you.

You’ve got a role to play in life;
You’ve got two boys, you’ve got a wife;
And they’ve got wives, grandchildren too;
How blessed you are that they’re with you.

So, ask yourself, “Where to from here?
How best move on despising fear,
As life unfolds for you each day –
As we spend time for each and pray?

For prayer to you is prayer to Me –
Start of each day you come to see
What’s there to see, as we go forth
To meet the needs of southern North.

Lord thanks for this Your Sabbath day –
I had a chance to stop and play;
Though not successful in some ways,
It gave a change from other days.

Now as I shift to days of work,
Which lie ahead, Your presence lurks
Within my memory forthwith
Of challenge graced by client’s gift.
