The Bomb (Sun Tzu 5:5) (John Chapter 19-21; Isaiah chapter 40; Matthew 14:13-36)

When Yankees went to end the war,
They used the a-bomb to restore
The peace; where they (the good guys) won,
Hegemony had now begun.

It started out conventionally,
When Pearl was bombed surprisingly;
It ended with a dual bang,
As Yanks their songs in victory sang.

Conventional starts things off right,
For that is all that’s in our sights,
Until the other army’s ways
Are sorted out amidst delays.

So frontal and conventional,
Start off the fight – adaptable
Comes next – all that’s unorthodox –
Is used to bring cessation-talks.

So one excelling with a flex
Of strategy, routinely wrecks
The plans of those locked in routine;
For them the victory’s foreseen.

They flow like rivers to the sea,
For under heaven there can be
Ways infinite, unorthodox,
Like rivers flowing ’round the rocks.

When at an end they start again;
Like sun and moon they rise once lain
To rest in quiet evening air,
Renewed, recycled, and repaired.

They seem to die and rise again;
Like seasons they’re reborn when slain;
Like “Terminator” on TV,
He’s gone, then back he seems to be.

The exiles out in Babylon
Had to their end of exile come,
When Cyrus set them free by force,
To head back home – renewed in source –

Of life, for they had learned a lot,
Which they applied when home they got;
Four thousand years that family
Have blessed our world, as all can see.

That picnic day – two loaves one fish –
When Jesus fed the crowd, they wished
He would be king – He walked away,
So He could fight another day.

His men out in the boat that night,
Became alarmed – got quite a fright
When He across the water walked –
Unorthodox – and then they talked.

Of course, on crucifixion day,
The enemy thought he could say,
“I won – the battle is now o’er”
But Christ arose – they could not lower –

Him to a grave forever more;
God raised Him up – to Him restored,
First life on earth, then life above –
The triumph over hate by love.

Conventional quite normal is –
We start like that, then add the fizz;
If all is sizzle with no steak,
We find we’ve made a huge mistake.
