“ Love Of People” –  (Is:42:18-22; Luke 15) (Nee – Normal Christian Worker – #3)

"Your brother was quite lost," dad said,
"He's found – alive – no longer dead";
Thus we should be re: all mankind –
Aware, engaged – no longer blind.

"But who's so blind," Isaiah asked,
"As servant-child", with awesome task,
"Or deaf" but he or she in ways
Innumerable – unless it pays?

Well, Holy Spirit, that is me,
Found out indeed by likes of Nee;
I like to think I better am
In face of this – no way I can.

In other books which Nee put out,
He quite agrees, for there's no doubt
We think we can, like engine small
In children's tale – no way at all.

For when there's gain for us to make
Some proffered help we're quick to take;
We climb up hillsides steep and rough,
But loss? No way! Enough's enough!

So, Father-God of all mankind,
And Jesus Christ – you came to find
Us all out on some mountain steep,
Or lost as coins in cushion's pleats.

While some perhaps have strong rebelled,
And found ourselves in a living hell,
You let us learn some hard way to
Come home to waiting arms from You.

O Holy Spirit, Son of God,
And Father, though to us it's odd
To walk away from cushy life,
Grace us this day to walk aright.

Thanks Holy Spirit for this.
