“A Second Laugh” [Spanish Church Series]

I had to laugh –
He’s so like me;
I danced around
That people see –

What Paul conveyed
Those years ago –
“When bad is up
It’s off I go.

“But when it comes
To righteousness,
I’m dead as meat
And could care less –

“For heart is strong
But body weak”;
Good thing the church
Provides these seats –

Or I would fall
Down on the floor
And wonder how
I could do more –

To humble be
Before Dios;
But life’s in Christ,
Or life is toast.

For we are live
In Christ each day;
He comes to each
To show a way

For us to be –
Fulfill His view;
For me? In Him
I can be “Stu”
