“Primary Zeal?”
The crash which killed her recently, it seems,
Came suddenly – life’s whirling blades have been
In motion long before this time of grief;
But this quick end came sudden as a thief.It stole a mother from a pre-teen youth;
It stole the hopes and fears; raised up the truth
That life is full of twists and turns for all,
Despite if impact felt is great or small.Lord, as these people sort out life anew,
And figure what on earth they are to do,
I pray that all might deepen in their lives,
And in reality of spirit thrive.Some friends at home got silliness as bread,
Which worked a while, until their path had led
Them to the point when mystery of death
Sucked life from them, and they were left bereft.Ironically, it’s those who flee such tripe
Who make out best when daylight turns to night;
For truth is part of center-pin of life,
As world spins ’round, extinguishing our light.Thanks Lord for this.
