“I Can See Clearly Now ”

The fog has lifted in my life, I see –
For grief has ended, freeing energy
To move ahead, cleanup the backlog now,
And move ahead, do tasks which sight allows.

I had five stones through life, like bubble-sort
Of several factors, lowest I’d abort,
Until it all came grinding to a halt
Through all those losses, mixed with human fault.

Lord, thanks for ending of those drain-off ways,
And starting freshly these approaching days;
For resolution You built into life
To handle grief adjustment – dark to light.

Lord, help me know what tasks You now want done;
Help me to stay relaxed and have some fun;
Help me, as “fresh troops to Your field” engage
In larger scenes of life with turning page.

“Hey, Stu, I’m with you in emerging times;
I’m glad you’re on your feet in world that’s Mine;
Just like “Eight hours a day” in words I gave,
Engage the Meadow-wood before you laid.

“For life has richness, joy, and clarity;
That’s true for all – some parts you clearly see;
Engage the world which clear before you lies;
Convey the things you see with clearer eyes.”

Thanks Lord for this.
