“Plug It In And Turn It On” [Poems Reflecting on Book Portraits And Principles of the World's Great Men and Women – “True Nobility” - Buttz 19th century wisdom literature series] ”

The noble soul can rise each day
In any context, any way;
Have feeling, aim, and action done
For others first when e’er begun.

Some lofty purpose, sympathy,
Self-sacrificing ministry;
What e’er the context, work, or task,
Or scope-and-scale, response is fast –

“Step to the plate, it’s your turn now”;
“God’s will’s expressed through each somehow”;
“Enable life through task you choose”;
“Press on, ignore folks’ ‘Win or lose’.”

One life is yours to spend – at will,
High up on Kingdom-layer, still
At one with all, both great and small;
“Hey, guy! Come in! There’s room for all.”

Thanks Lord for this.
