On The Other Side Of Tribulation"   [Reflections On Book The The Book Of Revelation "F" Rev. 7:17c] (Hebrews 11:1-12:29; Ephesians 6:10-20; Matt. 5:11-12; 10:17-20)

The detail of the context here,
In other parts is made quite clear –
Like Hebrews with its lines on faith;
Ephesians’ armor’s standing-grace.

For “tears” referred to in this line
Are not about just grieving time
When loved ones pass to great beyond,
Or kin-folk move across the pond.

It’s “tribulation” with its grime;
It’s torture-chamber’s horror-time;
The screams emitted by the maimed –
Inflicted pain from guards untamed.

For Hebrews’ list is in two parts –
In half God intervenes, gives start
To life which moments just before,
Was facing wall with locked up door.

But half the time God stands by there,
In other ways displaying care;
For faith is needed both to give
Our lives for others – and to live.

Both roads take faith – on Kingdom-layer,
To walk the talk of fervent prayer,
Assurance – when new era comes
You’ll wipe our tears, for me becomes –

Reality played out for me,
For in these words I’ve come to see
That screams and tears we can expect
When others stand upon our necks.

I thought we had to stoic be –
Unflinching, bending not our knee
To Caesar – one’s enough I hear –
Cry on – He wipes away such tears.

Thanks Lord for this.
