“The Ballerina”   [Reflections On Book The The Book Of Revelation "C" Rev. 1:12 ]

“I turned to see the voice”, John said,
“Which spoke to me” (of gold, not lead) –
Behold one standing at the door,
Who knocked, will knock forevermore.

Not just the voice that spoke was seen,
But spoke to me – for that I’m keen;
For “Logos” is all well and good,
But “Rhema-words”, when understood –

Are what gives life, our daily bread;
There’s copies six or eight I’ve read,
In English, Greek, and French (a tad),
And Cree I heard while just a lad.

Lord, thanks for chance to speak this way,
To folks at church, that You might sway
Their minds into Your Kingdom-patch,
With life renewed through question asked –

So yes, O Lord, this I will speak,
That as You work through Word to seek
Those stopped behind some wall of stone,
Who long to skate; o’er ice to roam –

They’ll hear afresh Your words to each;
Turn ’round to see the words You teach
Them in the midst of world morass –
Respond their way to given task.

Lord thanks for this.
