“Kingdom Players”
Don’t tell people what’s important,
Don’t tell people what you do;
One hint where the value’s vested,
Great destruction they will do.No, it’s not malicious conduct,
More a sensing where you own
Something held of value to you,
Some place where you are alone.All the value to them given
Has no draw to them at all;
They just want to wreak destruction,
Been that way since Satan’s fall.So, to spread the name of Jesus,
Let them see his value there;
Then in taking in the Spirit,
Deep encounter’s then prepared.But such value is no trifle,
Faking value does not work;
Not sure what the trigger’s made of,
Sought for as they watch and lurk.Lord, what is the cue for treason,
Sought to steal, kill, and destroy?
Not to use, though that’s the reason
Folks’ aggression is deployed.Once it’s grasped, it loses value –
Run a measure down the track,
Then to dust it turns – when handled
There’s no gain from their attack.Lord, like “Goodwill” in my reading,
Seized, its value melts away;
“Gossamer” it brooks no touching,
Spirit holy – now it’s clear.“Stu, that’s why the Giver gifting
Holds their cards close to their chest;
They’re aware compassion’s method
Takes, destroys, all that is best.”Lord, that says there’s no way forward,
Gridlock shuts both parties down;
“Stu that’s where My elevation
Lifts all players off the ground.“If you try to win your battle
Midst confinements of the world,
You’ll be destined for destruction
O’er it, your detached from swirl.“If folks are not Kingdom-players,
Rising o’er life’s ebb and flow,
Don’t hook in – it’s just frustration;
In My Kingdom you will know –“All about My way of living,
‘Body life’ I mean to be;
Stop engaging with those people;
Work instead to set them free.”Lord, clear out my narrow thinking,
Locked and loaded like the rest;
Give me eyes for Kingdom-players,
Now sub-longings are addressed.“Stu, you’re not a fisher-person,
More a bridge between two groups;
Giver and compassion persons –
Melded, they become my troops.“So, ease back, observe the fracas;
Don’t get swept up in their game;
Keep a clear fix on My Kingdom;
