“The View From Here”

I can’t say this is fun – my point of view
Is clouded, so the things which I should do
Are clear, but ways and means a problem are,
Though Kingdom-layer is better here by far.

For I don’t care about the blocks below,
But persevere and do the things I know
That I should do up here, for “gracious plain”
Supports me, lets me operate again.

I carry on, let others have their pace,
And do their lives their way; what e’er their case,
There’s plenty here for me to do in You,
O Lord, please open mind and hands to view –

What You want me to do in You today;
What troubles at Your feet to somehow lay,
So You can get the work You want from me
Accomplished – so some fruit from me You’ll see.

“Stu, it will be okay, just persevere;
For you, the path ahead need not be clear
Just path below – and blocks the others feel
Down on the ground below transparent steel.

“For Kingdom-layer is tough beyond all else;
Transparency gives insight into self,
And those around you – blockages they face;
Perspective yours is useful in each case.

“So stay in me and I in you today;
Just do the work and speak the words I say;
For life will be okay like circled light –
Dawn comes, which ends the darkness of this night.”

Thanks Lord for this.
