"Water Into Wine"  [Reflections On Gospel Module Notes To End of "4" section]

“So wha’ cha hearing there, My son,
In level-four, now it’s been done?”
I see that “Kingdom-layer’s” for me;
Enough to do – that much I see”.

“Okay – what else strikes you today?”
That building there will be okay;
That that’s a lot for one to do
As life is short for me in You.

“And else? What other things you see?”
My set of sixteen books – to me
Is like the best of old wine poured
On wounds of beaten man in Word –

But seventeen moves on from there –
New wine is good when it’s compared
To best of old – when old’s run out,
“Where will we turn?” – What it’s about.

So in that scene I hear today,
“Let old alone, let others stay
Where they are fed, their thirst is slacked;
Prepare a place for when they lack –

“Old wine to satisfied – for change
Has smashed their world, it’s rearranged;
For you and many folks today
The Kingdom-layer has made a way –

“For life to move ahead at last
If wine that’s old’s still good (as past
Has found it satisfied), well heck,
Go for it man, no need’s there yet.”

“What else you hearing there, My son –
Or is this section now near done?”
I’m hearing, “Temple of our God
Is body-life, here on the sod –

“That is, this ‘body-life’ (we’re parts) –
Not optional – the Kingdom starts
When we and others join our lives
With other parts – then body thrives.

“That is, the body has a head,
Without which we would soon be dead;
So enter into body-life –
Depart from darkness; enter light”

“And more?” Why yes – it’s like my place
Is at the door – transition’s space;
Old wine is sixteen books to me;
There is the best that old can be –

But new in one is better now
Already – for it’s showed me how
To do my life, wrap-up my task
Which You, O Lord, of me has asked.

“But what?” – But I will not live out
My life in Kingdom, thereabout,
But, more like Moses on this mount,
See Kingdom’s land – without a doubt.

“So?” – I’m content to live that way;
Let other’s journey in Your day
And days ahead in Beulah land
And there at last to under-stand –

The world around for whom it’s dark,
Whose kindled-fires long for such spark
As You provide the Kingdom-way,
As kite, or layered-look today.

Lord, that’s so helpful here today;
It helps me see for me, my way
Within Your larger view of life;
Like “level” Jacques laid in plain sight.

“So, where to now? What does this seem
To mean for you and where you’ve been?”
Lord, I think I’ve got lots to do
Right here on Kingdom-layer with You.

Thanks Lord for this.
