"Re-Newal"  [Reflections On Book  Powerlines  by Leona Frances Choy - Chapter 12 (D.L. Moody) - #6/25]

“We do not need new things so much,
As old things brought to life”,
Photography has been with us
For sixty thousand nights.

A vision of its use today,
Potential of its power,
Could impact others with Christ’s view
Just like the Psalmist’s tower.

It’s Spirit of the living God
Which brings about renewal,
Of vision, life, and words we say,
Each photograph a jewel.

But Spirit must be given place
Deep in our hearts and minds;
We’re leaky vessels, so we need
To Spirit-river find.

It once was said the world’s not seen
Impact of one man’s life
When consecrated fully to
The Lord who brings us light.

When hearts are full of lesser things
No room remains for Him;
When emptied out, and Spirit-filled
New photo-life begins.

Christ said, at first we change our ways
Make shift from night to day;
Enormous change that brings to us,
But there we need not stay.

Next level up, our thirst is quenched
By inner rising stream;
From deep within our inner selves
Refreshment can be seen.

On level three that bubbling brook
Flows out to kith and kin;
Through us the Spirit’s life can flow
To turn folks’ life from sin.

If Spirit does not flow through us
Great photos we may make;
But when it does, life soon explodes
With pix for Kingdom’s sake.

O Lord, I pray that others sense
Your Spirit through my pix,
As they augment the text I write,
This endless flow of clicks.

Thanks Lord for this.
