"Upshift" [Reflections on Book - Right Side Up Side Down Connie Bischoff and Romeo Lemieux - re: The Gift Part One ]

Up-shift the focus from the kids
Just married – and this story bids
Us look more closely ’round our lives,
To see the plight of husbands, wives –

Who look so normal (that’s the way
Society lives out each day) –
I’ll say, “I’m fine”, though really not,
For “car and boy” has up-shift plot.

Tonight I heard of mental probs
From three, two spoke between their sobs;
“Face fear?” Of course, anxiety
Is rife in this society.

But gift, implicit in this yarn,
Holds up-shift-view which quells alarm
On part of both within the car –
God’s double-play – spectacular!

Thanks Lord for this.
