Why even Jesus had to face the fact
That He could get blown off his course, and act
On impulse or response to others’ whims,
Or strong demands of context He was in.So prayer and praise in Scripture was for Him
A way to stay on course – correction in
His journey and His ministry in life;
He structured in some time to make things right.“I only do the things the Father does,
For I’m His hands and feet, and that’s because
I gave My life – at one I am with Him;
Baptism was My start – I’m wholly in.”So save yourself some time, Stu, in such acts –
Take time in prayer to there lay out the facts
Of life, and pray perspective on your scene;
And ask for grace to keep your spirit keen.Lord, Scripture is a blessing in my life;
I think about its contents day and night;
Help me to help some others feel this way,
’Till Bible has role in each life to play.Thanks Lord for this.
