"Jambalaya"  [Reflections On Book - 100 Ideas That Changed Graphic Design Stephen Heller and Veronique Vienne - #39]

I’m not sure what the reference is,
But “Jambalaya” speaks of fizz
Which rises from a frying pan,
When one cooks shapes as best one can.

So too with cut-out “Ransom notes”,
Cliché of nasty brutish blokes
Who steal the likes of Lindbergh kid,
And seek the cash while grave they dig.

Apparent scoff is often craft;
Its carelessness appears quite daft
Until one deconstructs its form
With eye to more accepted norm.

Like poetry, you solve for “X”;
This collage-type is of the best,
Or can be in an artist’s hand,
With buried clues like treasured land.

Thanks Lord for this.
