"The Flip Was Hard" [Reflections on Book - Right Side Up Side Down Connie Bischoff and Romeo Lemieux re: At The Time Of Book Flip ]
To flip the book was hard for me
(I’d peaked before) – I was still free
Of unseen ties part one had wrought,
So knew a shift takes place, thought caught –Up in his text augmented there
With pictures wed to text – compared
With that, these pictures now had text –
So different now – with spirit vexed.Perhaps discernment is the key,
Of spirits – what’s ailing me
So different is – amazing tome –
The art’s the same – each from their home –Yet locus shifts and rips my heart;
The difference rears right from the start;
If I’d not seen, I’d not believed
This simple flip – results like these!Lord, as I now progress with text
Augmenting pictures, let me rest
Assured that both are quite okay –
Then hear this text a brand-new way.Thanks Lord for this.
