"Childish Delight" [Reflections on Book - Right Side Up Side Down Connie Bischoff and Romeo Lemieux Part 2 - re: Ms Lecanne ] (Matthew 11:25-26)

Delight indeed! – This duo-set –
Such playful interactions – yet
Behind these layers illness roams,
With threat to life and dual homes.

From pepper to a life propped up,
Pugnaciously her life of snuff
Is playful now – as we look back
At playful life which moderns lack.

For life today so genteel is –
No fantasy – unless it’s biz,
Which is our fantasy for real,
Except it lies in wait to steel –

The minds and hearts through enter-prize –
“Let Lotto-ball keep all alive
With fantasy, small-packaged hope,
Fake suave – though far beyond your scope.”

She brings to life our playful past;
His fantasy affirms – then asks,
“How ’bout you, Stu? Are you alive
With fantasy? – can you survive –

“On Lotto-ball with billions laid
At altar of that lucky maid?
Kick back, enjoy – dress-up in play
As in a past – re-born today.

Thanks Lord for this.
