"A Little Light On Purpose" [Reflections on Book - Right Side Up Side Down Romeo Lemieux and Connie Bischoff re: Iron Will]

A little light on purpose, this story of the nail,
And board which is presented – will it succeed or fail?
It speaks about the pounding, the bending, and the will,
Of age and purpose melting ’fore salt and weathered sill.

Point taken in the mean-time, it throws a little light
On age and compromising, or yielding in the fight;
But question in me rises – is disappearing bad?
Or is success a slipping to purpose so we’re glad?

A roofing nail with shingles? Is that a nail we view?
Is shedding rain its purpose where old supplants the new?
For down below the roof line where slope slips off the snow,
Are treasures – pen with photos, nail helped this reader know.

Thanks Lord for this.
