"Principles Of Operation #1" [Reflections on Book Theory of Business Enterprise Thorstein Veblin, Chap. 4A - Business Principles]

Back in the 19th century
With handicrafts’ demise,
There was a rise in factories
(Outsourced now from our eyes).

For now they’re off in foreign lands,
Employment for the hordes;
We buy and markup from their hand;
Biz-enterprise affords –

Us chance to play as dominant
A role as there can be,
Within biz on this continent –
But less and less we’re free.

He outlines several principles
By which they ran a biz,
Back in the good old simple days,
The main one? Here it is –

It’s “property” as subset of
An owner’s point of view;
He details then how change took place
To make that outlook new.

Thanks Lord for this.
