"Harald Angels" [Reflections on Book - Right Side Up Side Down Romeo Lemieux and Connie Bischoff re - Cricket]

There is a challenged-tension in the life we know,
From cricket’s call to mate, to lover’s porch below;
The bedroom with its sleeping child in evening air –
Call and response from porch with squeaky rocking chair.

Communication’s layered depth assails each one –
Sometimes success arrives when evening’s song is sung;
Child wakes, its mother calls – those lovers down below –
Whose gently squeaking rockers crickets song can know.

Ambiguous the half-note ending everything,
Yet starting second round – as challenge echo brings;
For tension cuts through peace as kite against the string,
And Kingdom-layer brings relief through new-born King.

Thanks Lord for this.
