"Gossamer" [Reflections on Book - Right Side Up Side Down Romeo Lemieux and Connie Bischoff - Hwy 89 West]
I’d never heard that word,
Though it’s been ’round
Eight hundred years or more –
Slipped through by Viking
Travelers
From lands
Much like
Our own.Shaped
And molded
By the people
Of receiving
Lands –Goose down
Of autumn mist;
Ethereal –
So fine
As if
By spiders
Made –Those autumn days
Once leaves
Are gone,
Ten days
Of warmth
Before
Harsh winds
Of winter
Close life
Down.I took
A picture
Once –
Great-Granny
With young
Girl –
Engaged
In
Talk so
Light
That
This word
Comes
To mind –Just like
The years
In which
We now
Abide.Thanks Lord for this.
