"Country Church"

They’re just a little country Church,
I saw last night, and they will burst
If pushed to urban model be –
That aspect of their case I see.

No wonder it won’t work, for they
Are not the image they portray;
Though good at playing urban fare,
They’re rural – concert placed them there.

One guy said, “It’s all rural life;
It’s ‘Urban-myth’ which raises strife;
Be what you are and hang the rest,
You’ll find your life restored with zest”.

So then, with me – discerningly
Sense Spirit’s presence – on my knee,
With Andrew Murray’s ways of prayer –
Live out my life on Kingdom-layer.

“Cut back concern how others live;
You can’t do both – to others give
Key insights which they need each day
To help them move along their way.”

Lord we’ve this project – halfway there
In You, now here on Kingdom-layer;
I have to trust Your timing’s right –
Step into future-world with might.

It’s hard to let go of the past,
Embrace the present-future, cast
Aside by others, or not seen,
That all might go where few have been.

Lord as I move on out today,
Be with each one; help each to lay
Out what, and where, and why, and when,
That all return to Thee again.

Thanks Lord for this.
