"Spring" [Reflections on Book - Right Side Up Side Down Romeo Lemieux and Connie Bischoff re: Reveilie]

As life itself through time and patience shows,
God’s love to us, like bee which flower knows
In springtime-glades and hollows in the rocks,
Is concrete, practical, and present when He talks –

The story goes of child who wanted dad
To be with him, once bedtime-story had
Wrapped up the ending for each standard day –
“Not Teddy-Bear – but skin on face, I say”.

So too in spring as life returns once more –
Strong sun, with melt, green plants once more restored,
Are touched indeed as life of all forms meet
With rock which seems so fixed beneath our feet.

Life can be one, yet separate to give
The gifts of life and love, that all might live
As one by choice, not just wired in to do
What others think – God’s gift to me and you.

Thanks Lord for this.
