That’s there – can never get enough
To satisfy the greed in me –
I want the tools that vaunteth me.You cannot worship “strut”, You said
Back in your day – disciples fed
Upon Your word, O Lord; today
We hear and struggle to obey.First “Grace” way concept, real of course,
To carry us without remorse
To victory in You – we’d say,
“You helped me, Lord, to win today”.Then Kingdom-layer started here
As place to live devoid of fear,
And barriers which folks throw up,
And negatives which make it tough.I heard your word – “Stand on your feet;
Take up your mat, this day you greet
A future and a hope – for you –
Walk on, take up the work you do.”And now I hear what I’ve been warned
Of Nee (who’s passive), “He is scorned
Within this land of active voice;
It’s both – for God has given choice”.Then when I woke I heard, as well,
“It’s inter-active also – tell
Your son through actions, “God can do
All three – the choice is up to you.“Sometimes it’s active voice for us,
Which brings upon our head some fuss;
But passive does that quietly,
In comfort we can trouble see.“And you know inter-active voice
Is fraught with perils – every choice
Is open to old ‘you know who’
Who loves to scuttle things you do.”Lord as I download software core
To publish books, it’s so much more
Than I can ever master – still
They press on – shifting targets ’till –They make today seem kiddy-play;
“Take up your bed and walk”, You say –
More, “Run! For they’re ahead of you,
And hordes of them hone tools for you.”“A tighter, faster, game”, You said,
As through commandments You have led;
Engaged in life, now, I can be
In You, on Kingdom-layer with Thee.Not tippy-toeing through the flowers,
On tight-rope – boldness now is ours –
“Love God, sin boldly”, Luther quipped,
“Forgiveness waits when we have slipped.”“Each day forgive us as we act,
O Father, sin is daily fact;
Help us to laugh in all we do –
